One of the big issues affecting everyone in Hampshire in 2005 is the South East Plan. This document sets out how matters such as housing, the environment, the economy and transport need to be improved and developed over the next 20 years.

The plan will affect every man, woman and child in Hampshire.

By following the link to the Hampshire County Council web pages you will find information on and links to the plan itself as well as details on our concerns for the people of Hampshire. Read on to find out more about it and how to make your views known.  http://www3.hants.gov.uk/southeastplan

An excerpt from the April 2005 Amenities Committee meeting minutes : link

"A group of children from from Beslen had visited and used the village hall. After lunch local children were invited to play football with them in a Bransgore v Russia match, and then to join them in the hall for the bouncy castle. They all had great fun and played well together despite language barriers. Pictures were circulated."

Cherished Bridleways of the Parish

Just a mile-or-so to the south of Bransgore is a network of bridleways which give non-vehicular access from Waterditch and a point on Ringwood Road, through to Burton Common and a grazing area known as Burton Rough. It is possible to follow these routes down to Christchurch via Amebury Lane or across to the main A35.  A Map of the area, shows bridleways as blue dotted lines.
